or drop a file here Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Choose an image or drop it on the box above. JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF and BMP all work.
  2. Crop, rotate, flip or change the size. Every step can be undone, and Reset takes you back to the start.
  3. Pick JPG, PNG or WebP and a quality. The file size updates as you go. Then press Download.

Private by design

Your photo is opened and edited by your own browser. It is never uploaded, so nobody else sees it.

All edits are applied to the full resolution photo when you save, so nothing is scaled twice. The saved file has no hidden metadata such as camera details or the place the photo was taken, and it stays the right way up.

Questions

How do I crop to a square or 16:9?

Press Crop, then pick 1:1 or 16:9. Drag the box to move it and pull the handles to change its size. Press Done when it looks right.

How do I make the file smaller?

Choose JPG or WebP and lower the quality, or make the image smaller under Size. The file size is shown live, so you can stop as soon as it is small enough.

Can I undo a step?

Yes. Use the Undo and Redo buttons, or Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z on a keyboard. Reset takes the photo back to how it was when you opened it.

Why can't I choose WebP on my iPhone?

Some browsers, such as Safari, can open WebP but not save it. The editor then saves a JPG and tells you so.
