PowerPoint to PDF
Turn .pptx presentations into PDFs with one slide per page. The conversion runs on your own device.
How it works
- Choose one or more .pptx files, or drop them on the box above.
- Every slide is laid out in your browser and becomes one PDF page, in the same shape as the slide.
- Download the PDFs, or all at once as a zip.
Private by design
Presentations often hold plans and numbers that are not public yet. This converter never uploads them. The slides are read and drawn by your own browser.
Pages keep the slide shape, wide 16 by 9 or classic 4 by 3. The words are added as invisible text on each page, so you can search the PDF and copy from it.
Why share slides as a PDF
A PDF of your slides opens on any device, without PowerPoint, and keeps your layout in place. That makes it the safest way to send a presentation to a client, upload it to a course portal, or share handouts after a talk. Files are also often smaller than the original .pptx.
Check slides with special fonts, SmartArt or effects in the PDF before you send it, because those can look simpler. Hidden slides are left out, which is handy for backup slides you do not want to share. Animations show as their final still picture.
If you made your deck in Google Slides or Keynote, export it as .pptx first and convert that here, or use the PDF export of that program. If the PDF is too large for email, run it through Compress PDF.
Questions
Will my slides look exactly the same?
Text, pictures, shapes, tables, backgrounds and most charts are kept. PowerPoint itself is not used, so some details can differ: fonts you do not have are replaced by similar ones, and effects like shadows, 3D, SmartArt and some gradients may look simpler. Animations and videos become a still image.
Can it convert old .ppt files?
No. The old .ppt format from PowerPoint 2003 and earlier cannot be read here. Open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, LibreOffice or Google Slides, save it as .pptx, and convert that.
Are speaker notes included?
No. Each PDF page shows one slide, like a normal slide export. Hidden slides are left out.
What about password protected presentations?
A presentation that needs a password to open is encrypted and cannot be read here. Remove the password in PowerPoint first.
Can I convert PowerPoint to PDF on my phone?
Yes. Open this page in your phone's browser, choose the .pptx file and download the PDF.
Can I put several slides on one page?
No. Each slide becomes one full PDF page in the shape of the slide.
Will links in my slides still work?
The slides are drawn as images with hidden text, so clickable links are not kept. Add the web address as text on the slide if people need it.
